Starling (Mo Brachfeld, Jared Kirkpatrick) is a trad folk duo, playing music based in traditional fiddle styles from Appalachia, New England, Quebec, and Ireland. Deftly blending these roots with modern influences and original tunes, the two play contra dances and house concerts up and down the East coast.

Flamingo Sketches (Tom Krumm, Jared Kirkpatrick) explore the roots of New England contra dance music in conjunction with blended modern styles, throwing everything from Stevie Wonder to Taylor Swift into the mix. The two play contra dances, waltzes, English Country dances, and private functions in and around the greater Philadelphia area.
